Does your application require high resolution information of vehicle
accelerations for several directions ?
Do you need precise information on both static and dynamic tilt
angles? If so - xProINS IP68 is the perfect solution for you !
xproINS IP68 comes with four different sensor types - each selected to
achieve the best possible results for individual physical values:
•
a main sensor with a 6D accelerometer / Gyro with high stability
•
a special Tilt Angle Sensor with stable results for static tilt angles
•
a backup 6D IMU with extended measurement ranges
•
a Magnetometer / Compass module for future software extensions
xproINS IP68 - add dynamic Data to CAN
xproINS IP68 comes in a full metal housing - milled from a block of Alloy.
The sensor unit can be securely mounted with two M4 screws which reduces the
influence of local vibration.
The sensor unit is completely waterproof and IP68 certified. The Signal
connector is also protected, of course.
As a special feature there is a built-in mounting angle compensation. If the
mounting angle of the sensor deviates from being perpendicular to the Earth‘s
gravitational field, this can be corrected by simply pressing a button on top of
the unit. Alternatively a calibration run can be automatically initiated at power-
on.
Communication is via CAN bus. The interface is CAN-FD ready.
The low-power design features full galvanic isolation and a wide input range of
10 … 32 VDC.
